A lot of people are worried about Paige and Walter in the upcoming season of "Scorpion," since the actors playing them, Katharine McPhee and Elyes Gabel, recently broke up. As such, rumors of these characters having blossoming love might now be far-fetched. Add that to the fact that CBS has made it clear that the third season of this series will have no time for love and fans are going to be disappointed.

According to Cross Map, the reason why this love team was so effective was due to the fact that the actors playing these characters were dating. However, since they have broken up, fans are worried about how this love team will fare, but they still have not given up hope that their characters will still be unaffected by this recent upheaval. Regardless, it could still be seen that the two are still friends and they still work with each other almost on a daily basis.

However, as for spoilers, a lot of rumors are saying that the new season will focus more on the cast tackling their own personal issues, and according to the Parent Herald, executive producer Nick Wootton hinted that a lot of things will be dealt with in the upcoming season. He even went so far as to say that they will be taking the characters in a lot of different yet equally interesting directions, instead of focusing on love interests.

As such, even with the third season of "Scorpion" still maintaining a bit of romance, it will also have some war troubles that involves the U.S. Military. Its premiere episode, titled "Civil War," will feature the Team Scorpion encountering some heavy security threats made by hackers trying to commandeer American warships and aircraft.

The third season of "Scorpion" will premiere on Oct. 3 at 9 p.m. on CBS with a two-hour episode.
