San Antonio Spurs latest news 2015: Spurs dominate Jazz to capture third straight victory

Everything worked for the San Antonio Spurs last Monday as they continue to remain unbeaten at home after a 118–81 blowout win over the Utah Jazz, which was also their third consecutive.

The Spurs are now 13–0 at the AT&T Center and will try to keep the sheet clean, since they will remain at home for three more games before again hitting the road.

National Basketball Association (NBA) 2014 Finals Most Valuable Player (MVP) forward Kawhi Leonard led the way for San Antonio with 22 points, seven rebounds, two assists, and two steals.

Following Leonard was veteran point guard Tony Parker and All-Star big man LaMarcus Aldridge who tallied 18 points each, and a number of times in the game worked great together.

The Spurs also got a lift from the reserves who were led by point guard Patty Mills and center Matt Boner who scored 11 and 10 points, respectively.

Everyone in the Spurs roster had the chance to play quality minutes and score in the win over Utah.

Parker was pleased with the way they dominated the Jazz and said, according to the Associated Press, "I'll take blowouts, especially early in the season. The starters, we can rest. It's always great because it adds up. All the rest that we're getting right now will help come playoff time."

The Spurs are still the second best team in the Western Conference and in the National Basketball Association (NBA) with their 21–5 record, just 3.5 games behind the defending champions Golden State Warriors who are at 24–1.

San Antonio's game versus the Jazz was just the first of a four-game home stand, as they will still be visited by the Washington Wizards (Wednesday), Los Angeles Clippers (Friday), and the Indiana Pacers (Monday) before leaving AT&T Center.
