With the launch of the Apple Watch plus two new iPhones rumored to also come out this year, tech giant Samsung is reportedly going to up the ante and will also launch two new devices. According to Samsung fan and observer Sam Mobile, the Korea-based company is planning to launch the next Galaxy Note with its next flagship wearable.
The Galaxy Note 5, which is rumored to be coming out this year, is expected to be revealed at this year's IFA or Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin consumer products trade show.
Speculations about the Note 5 have also been making their rounds online, with emphasis on the specs. Known for providing its flagship devices with next-gen and top-of-the-line specs, the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to come out with a QHD or 4K Super AMOLED display and will be powered by a new Exynos processor that integrates CPU, GPU, RAM, and storage on a single chip.
In addition, it seems that the next Note will be coming out alongside the much-hyped Gear A.
The new Gear has been in the reports lately, as Samsung expects their new smartwatch to innovate the wearables industry. It has been reported that aside from making the new Gear, codenamed Orbis, with a premium look and feel, the smartwatch will feature a rotating bezel that adds flexibility on interface and user interaction. In terms of design, Samsung is allegedly working confidentially with top artists and name brands for a variety of cuztomization options for the smartwatch.
The new Gear A will also be running on Samsung's new Tizen platform, a first for the company. It will be the seventh installment for the company's wearables line-up.
The Galaxy Note 5 and the Samsung's new Gear A are expected to be unveiled in September in Berlin.
