'Ray Donovan' season 3 spoilers: Terry relishes newfound freedom

Terry (Eddie Marsan) is out of prison and ready to inflict the pain he has been through to his unsuspecting father in the upcoming episode of Showtime's crime drama series "Ray Donovan."

In "Breakfast of Champions," Cartermatt reports that viewers will see how Ray's (Liev Schrieber) erring brother get on with his life outside of prison. It is expected that he will have many hangups, being locked up and having experienced unthinkable things in his incarceration. But will it push Terry to take out all his frustrations on Mickey (Jon Voight) or even Ray?

Meanwhile, other characters will also deal with their own share of action in the episode. Paige (Katie Holmes) will attempt to sell the studio to her Chinese buyers and Abby (Paula Malcomson) will take a trip to Boston to reconnect with her family. Conor (Devon Bagby) will play hookie to throw a party while Bridget (Kerris Dorsey) will get angry at her math teacher.

As for Ray, TV Fanatic reveals that he will find out what it really means to work under Andrew Finney (Ian McShane). In the show's promo, he will be seen dealing with the Finney patriarch minus his family. Paige will ask Ray point blank whether he can stand doing the callous things her father will be asking him to do. Ray will also discover that "a good family business does not mean a good family."

Last episode was all about Ray and Mickey's desperate attempt to free Terry from prison. The younger Donovan killed a fellow inmate in a fight, with his progressing Parkinson's disease not helping curb his temper. Terry told Ray that if the dead prisoner's friends kill him, they would be doing him a favor. That triggered Ray and Mickey to do everything they could to save Terry. Mickey even attempted to bribe a policeman with drugs, but Ray stopped him from doing so.

"Ray Donovan" airs Sunday at 9 p.m. EST on Showtime.
