PlayStation Plus May 2015 free games line-up list leaked?

The list of free games for May for the PS Plus program may have leaked ahead of its official announcement.

The PS Plus program from Sony lists games that can be downloaded for free by players on PlayStation systems. Gamers are at liberty to choose from free titles for the month. In April, fans were treated to digital downloads of titles ranging from the amazing puzzle adventure "Never Alone" for the PlayStation 4, to "Killzone Mercenary" for the handheld PlayStation Vita.

Moreover, Sony usually announces the game list on the last day of the preceding month. There were even times that the announcement was delayed for some reason, like that of the March games list. However, it seems that Sony has prepared for the upcoming month's titles well in advance.

According to reports, it seems that the German site for the official Playstation Blog has released a list of games that would be included in the upcoming month's PS Plus program. In addition, most of the games on the list are what hardcore fans consider as A-listers.

On the list is "Rayman Legends" and "Knack" for the PS4; followed by "Need for Speed: Rivals" for the PS3. Meanwhile, "Fruit Ninja" and "Asphalt: Injection" would be made available for PS Vita players. The new game "Shovel Knight" would also be made available across all PS platforms.

The list remains a rumor though, as Sony still has to come up with an official announcement for May's PS Plus lineup. Of the games that were listed, the only title that has a high chance of being offered for free next month would be the "Need for Speed" title, as the racing game is already considered an old-timer. On the other hand, "Shovel Knight" being offered free seems to be a wish-list item instead, as the platform side-scroller is new in the market and is considered to be one of the highly-anticipated titles for this year.
