Arkane Studios' "Prey" allows players to interact with the environment and complete objectives using a variety of ways. This article provides some general tips to make gameplay easier.

Upon entry to the space station, players may be able to spot what looks like useless rubbish surrounding the area. According to IGN, these can actually be converted by machines called Recyclers into items, which, when combined with Fabrication Plans, will allow gamers to make useful items such as weapons, ammo, and medkits.

The website also has a suggestion for dealing with Mimics. According to IGN, zooming in vision will allow the gamer to mark an enemy with a red arrow. The marker will not disappear even when it is already outside the player's vision. This will make dealing with Mimics easier, so that they can still be found even if they run away from the player.

Gamespot also has a suggestion for dealing with these creatures. To find these quickly, crank up the volume to hear the wet-sounding clicking sounds made by the Mimic. This will help gamers to find the Mimics even if they are hiding in plain sight. Kotaku, meanwhile, suggests turning up the brightness of the screen to help spot the non-disguised Mimics in the game.

Gamespot also recommends that players explore other creative ways that the GLOO gun can be used for other than freezing enemies in place. For instance, it can be used to create platforms or steps so that previously unexplored areas can be reached. It can also be used to block gas leaks and electric junctions.

Gameranx advises players to use Psychoscope in order to collect new abilities. It can also be used to gain new information that can increase chances of survival.

Saving the game frequently can help in the long run. Death can come quite easily in "Prey," with enemies lurking at just about every corner, so it is important to save the game to avoid having to start all over again.
