"Orange is the New Black" (OITNB) is another hit series from Netflix that has been received well. Season 3 of the show has just ended and now fans are excited about the release of season 4.

I has already been confirmed that the show is renewed for the fourth season, but a specific release date has yet to be announced.

The show is slated for release most likely in 2016, and it is speculated that it will be around June or July, iDigitalTimes reported.

According to the report, if the show will follow its release date pattern, then a June/July 2016 is most likely.

Meanwhile, speculations about season 4 have started making the rounds online. However, there are also a few reports that will confirm what fans should expect from the upcoming season.

In a report from TV Guide, actress Laverne Cox who plays Sophia Burset revealed that the feud between her character and fellow inmate Gloria, played by Selenis Leyva, will not be resolved in the new season.

That means fans should expect that the two won't be reconciling — not soon or not ever at all, according to Cox.

The population problem within Litchfield prison is another issue that will be given focus in season 4. As previously reported by Hypable, OITNB will be introducing new characters in the upcoming season.

The report stated that the three characters will be played by Bard William Henke (Pacific Rim), Mike Houston (The Drop) and Kelly Karbacz (Get Smart). However, no further details about the new characters have been disclosed.

Laura Prepon's character Alex is also expected to return for OITNB season 4 as she reportedly survived season 3's attack.

Furthermore, Prepon told TV Guide that viewers will not be seeing Alex's timid side.

Meanwhile, Caitlyn Jenner was previously rumored to appear in a cameo role in the series. However, this rumor has been dismissed by none other than Netflix.
