The anime adaptation of "One Punch Man" has ended its run. With the original manga adaptation still continuing, fans are hoping that there will be a second season that will keep up with the main protagonist Saitama and his hero friends. According to recent reports, the anime adaptation creator will be doing all he can to make sure that fans will see the continuation of "One Punch Man" with a new season.

According to The Bit Bag, anime series creator Murata Yusuke promised that he will do all he can to make sure there will be a second season for "One Punch Man." The creator also added that he will double his efforts to get season 2 to release sooner.

The industry follower stated that a normal schedule to build seasons for anime series normally takes between 6 to 9 months or as long as 1 to 2 years after a previous season ended. However, should Yusuke keep his promise, it means that the creator and his team would need to keep up a fast pace in order to complete an entire season 2 content for "One Punch Man."

The story in the manga adaptation is already past the season ender for the anime adaptation, so the plot is already present. However, the report mentioned that Yusuke still has his work cut out for him, since rushing to release the second season would mean a daily routine of 10 hours' worth of editing, and at least a hundred drafted, inked, and final storyboards drawn.

Meanwhile, as hardcore fans patiently wait for the next season, observers have nothing but praises for "One Punch Man."

According to Forbes, the anime adaptation's 2015 run cab be considered a phenomenal success, not just in Japan but for Western audiences as well. The industry follower mentioned that the original adaptation from creator One has been enhanced by Murata Yusuke's show of key frame animation in both manga and anime, which is a feat in itself. The feature, along with interesting character development and a cheeky sense of humor, was what made "One Punch Man" a runaway success.
