Snow (Ginnifer Goodwin) and Henry (Jared S. Gilmore) might be breaking the sleeping curse that the Evil Queen (Lana Parrilla) has left them. Meanwhile, Emma (Jennifer Morrison) will be fulfilling the prophecy in the finale of season 6, and it might be her death.

On the next episode of "Once Upon a Time" season 6, titled "Awake," the Charmings might be breaking their sleeping curse that has kept them apart ever since the Evil Queen placed it upon them.

Catermatt reports that the reunion of Snow and Henry has long been speculated, and given the title of episode 17, the breaking of the sleeping curse is already hinted.

While the Charmings might be reunited by breaking free from the sleeping curse, it might also signify their happy ending, which means that their story in "Once Upon a Time" will come to an end. There have also been no reports of Goodwin and Gilmore renewing their contracts for the show, which leaves the fate of their characters hanging.

Meanwhile, Emma might be dying in the season 6 finale of "Once Upon a Time" to fulfill her prophecy.

In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, executive producers Edward Kitsis and Adam Horowitz revealed that Emma's prophecy is not really to break the curse of the Evil Queen in Storybrooke.

"It appears we thought we had taken care of that, but it turns out that was not true," Kitsis revealed. "It means that we've reached the end of the very first book," he added.

The showrunner then said that by the end of the season, some stories will be completed, "whether they're good or bad, we'll have to wait and see."

With the showrunners confirming the end of a chapter in Storybrooke, Morrison speculated on the fate of her character. "Does the end of the book mean she dies?" Morrison asked.

"Once Upon a Time" season 6 airs every Sunday night at 8 p.m. EDT on ABC.
