The Dark One's plans will be finally exposed in Sunday's two-episode "Once Upon a Time" season 5 special.

Based on the promo clips for episodes 8 and 9 titled "Birth" and "The Bear King," the new Dark One Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) finally has the infamous Excalibur sword and will use it against King Arthur (Liam Garrigan) to save her loved ones.

She will also save her long-time love Captain Hook (Colin O' Donoghue) from Arthur's direct attack, according to the trailer for the first of the two episodes. But after defeating the king of Camelot, Hook and Emma will have an argument regarding their real feelings for each other.

Hook will explain why he told her that does not love her, but Emma claims that it does not matter anymore since she is the Dark One. Hook will argue that she is more than the Dark One since she is still Emma and will tell her that he wants to help her get rid of her evil persona if she will help herself. But Emma will refuse his help and tell him that she does not want to defeat darkness since everything will be over soon.

The pissed Hook will angrily demand to know her reasons why she needs Excalibur. However, he seems to be caught off guard with her answer and says that she is doing everything because of him.

Meanwhile, Merida (Amy Manson) will look for the knight who killed her father but she will not be alone since she will be assisted by Mulan (Jamie Chung) and Ruby (Meghan Ory).

In an interview with TVLine, Manson explained the connection among the three tough women in the fantasy series.

"Merida and Mulan have had quite a close friendship for some time, so you find out how Mulan was introduced into Merida's life," the actress shared. "And then Ruby ends up meeting Mulan, and they offer to help Merida on her mission. That's how the three of them become 'Charlie's Angels'!"

"Once Upon a Time" season 5 episodes 8 and 9 will air on Sunday, Nov. 15, 2015.
