The New Orleans Pelicans aim to return on the winning track when they visit the Chicago Bulls at the United Center today, Monday, for their third game of the preseason.

New Orleans started the preseason with a 110–105 win over the Indiana Pacers but were defeated by the Atlanta Hawks 103–93 last Friday.

Pelicans star Anthony Davis again shone for his team, tallying 20 points, five rebounds, one assist, and three blocks.

Helping him was former Rookie of the Year Tyreke Evans, who was the only other member of the Pelicans to score in double digits in their loss to Atlanta.

Evans dropped 17 points and came close to a double-double, grabbing nine rebounds and also having two assists.

Meanwhile, the Bulls won 114–105 in their last preseason game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The win was the second for the Bulls, whose only loss so far in this year's preseason was against the Denver Nuggets.

Before the defeat, Chicago opened its preseason in a good note as it defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 105–95.

In their recent win over the Timberwolves, reserve guard E'Twaun Moore led the scoring with 18 points, two rebounds, five assists, and two steals.

Forward Doug McDermott again had another great performance, tallying 16 points, two rebounds, and four assists.

Big man Pau Gasol, who did not play in the Bulls' first two preseason games, returned to the lineup against the Timberwolves.

Gasol, who led Spain to the EuroBasket 2015 title and was named the tournament's Most Valuable Player (MVP), scored eight points; grabbed four rebounds; dished out one assist; and made one steal and two blocks.

The Bulls are still without point guard Derrick Rose who went through surgery for an orbital fracture suffered during the first day of practice.

The game between the Pelicans and Bulls will take place today, Oct. 12, at 8:00 p.m. EST. To watch via live stream, click here.
