Giant game company Nintendo has now released the new line up for its Amiibo merchandise.

In a Nintendo Direct presentation for the month of April, the company announced that the next batch of the Amiibo figurines will arrive on May 29. The new line-up will include numerous characters from the "Super Smash Bros." game such as Charizard, Greninja, Jigglypuff, Lucina; there would also be Ness, Pax-Man, Robin, and Wario.

The new Amiibos for May will also be joined in by three characters from the upcoming game, "Splatoon". They would be The Inkling Girl, Inkling Boy, and Inkling Squid.

Meanwhile, the presentation also listed down the Amiibo figurines for the upcoming months. Aside from the new figures in May, there would also follow Dark Pit and Palutena in July, and September will see other Amiibos such as Bowser Jr., Dr. Mario, Ganondorf, Olimar, and Zero Suit Samus.

Aside from confirming the upcoming Amiibo line-up, Nintendo also announced that Ness from the game 'Earthbound' will be exclusive to its Nintendo stores.

Those who are collecting Amiibos are in for a little bit of good news, too: Amazon is said to be in talks for a wave 4 pre-orders for the upcoming Amiibos. However, the rumor is still unsubstantiated and may change as the launch for the next wave of Amiibos draws near, and with other retailers such as Toys "R" Us still changing their pre-order conditions and terms, it seems that hardcore collectors need to scour the Internet a little bit more so as to find an outlet with a stable wave 4 pre-order terms.

Aside from the pre-order rumors, there seems to be talks that the Best Buy exclusive Amiibo Meta Knight will soon be available again for collectors. According to the Amiibo Reddit page, the figurine which quickly became rare as it is still sold out will have a chance to be available once again.
