'Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4' plot rumors: Izuna Uchiha a possibility for the game?

 Bandai Namco

A new rumor has begun floating around concerning "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4," and this time around, the rumor mill is suggesting the inclusion of one notable member of the Uchiha clan.

The character in question being rumored to be part of the game is none other than Izuna Uchiha.

The rumor began gaining steam after a fan posed a question to the game's official Twitter account asking about the inclusion of Izuna.

Instead of flatly denying that the character would be in "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" as what happened when the same question was asked about Mecha Naruto, this time around, the person handling the game's official Twitter account instead opted to say that it was not possible to answer that question at that moment, according to Geek Snack.

Simply refusing to answer is not an admission that Izuna will be in the game of course, but the lack of denial is leading some fans to hope that Izuna will indeed become part of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

Izuna's possible inclusion in the game should also be not the least bit surprising to fans considering his role in the series. He was known as one of the most powerful ninjas in the series, and also the younger brother of the main villain, Madara Uchiha. It was also none other than Izuna's death that enabled Madara to obtain his fallen brother's Mangekyō Sharingan, and grow even stronger in the process, according to Latinos Post.

Aside from Izuna, there have also been other characters that have been rumored to be part of "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

Screenshots supposedly showing Susanoo Kakashi and Boruto have also surfaced online recently, prompting fans to believe that they too will be included in the game.

There are still no confirmations thus far, although more official details are expected to come out soon.
