"Naruto" fans were saddened when manga creator Masashi Kishimoto ended the series' 15-year-long run, but fans can still see their favorite characters through the upcoming game "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4."

Game developer Cyberconnect2's president Hiroshi Matsuyama announced in his Twitter account last December that "Naruto Shippuden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4" will arrive sometime this year on next-gen consoles, although the specific release date was undisclosed.

His tweet reads (as translated by ShonnenGamez), "Today, it was officially announced! Ultimate Ninja Storm 4! Appearing on the PS4! Not on the PS3. I have completely developed this as a next generation title. You can experience the demo over the weekend at Jump Festa 2015, so by all means, please try it out! Can you wait for this amazing experience?"

Just like the previous game titles, the game is packed of ninjutsu and taijutsu of the beloved characters. The game also features a story mode where gamers can relive the story of one of the most popular manga worldwide.

The game will also feature the old and new characters of "Naruto Shippuden," meaning the new and mature look of the characters featured in "The Last: Naruto The Movie" as well as their younger selves.

Meanwhile, the final "Naruto" film, "The Last: Naruto The Movie," will be hitting theaters in 20 cities in the United States on Feb. 20 as VIZ Media and Eleven Arts are both working hard in bringing the last "Naruto" film to the U.S. Eight cities have been confirmed to show the movie – New York, Boston, Houston, Dallas, Los Angeles, San Diego, San Francisco and Seattle.

Tickets for the movie are already available from Eleven Arts' website and fans and moviegoers are gifted with an exclusive commemorative poster. The movie will be shown in "original Japanese dialogue with English subtitles."

The movie is set where Naruto will have to save the world as the moon approaches Earth causing it to annihilate everything.
