"Naruto Shippuden" has reverted to its original storyline and so in episode 471, fans will see Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura continue their battle against the menacing Kaguya.

The last time fans saw the heroes, Sasuke was swallowed into a black hole concocted by their enemy. Naruto is convinced that Sasuke is in another dimension.

In "Naruto Shippuden" episode 471 titled "The Two of Them...Always," which seems to reference the tandem of Naruto and Sasuke, the Seventh Hokage together with Obito and Sakura will come for Sasuke.

The three of them should elicit a good enough amount of chakra to get to the alternate dimension Sasuke was sent to. However, Kakashi believes that she would have done something to help too.

The promo for "Naruto Shippuden" episode 471 reflecting on all of his supposed failures, his tendency to make mistakes and be a lousy friend.

As he said these words, the trio who went for Kaguya do not seem to be doing well in fighting the villain, further pressuring Kakashi into doing something to help.

As per "Naruto Shippuden" episode 471 spoilers, these thoughts will have him springing into action and ultimately sacrifice his life to save his friends.

While this is yet to be corroborated, some fans would like to think that the previous episode, where Kakashi's face was finally unmasked, was a foreshadowing of his imminent demise.

Of course, there is no way of knowing for sure if this is the plan for such an iconic character. However, there are some more promising reports that Kakashi might not have to lose his life in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 471 to put Naruto and the others to safety.

Of course, fans cannot help but worry, especially because Kaguya is unlike any villain that wreaked havoc in the "Naruto" universe.

Will Kakashi meet his demise in "Naruto Shippuden" episode 471? Fans will learn when it airs Thursday, Aug. 11.
