Season 2 of the surprise hit series of the USA Network, "Mr. Robot," will dwell on the history of fsociety and the development of White Rose's (BD Wong) character.

Entertainment Weekly reveals that the cyberpunk-thriller drama series will show the "whole backstory" of the mysterious group led by Mr. Robot (Chrtistian Slater). Creator Sam Esmail admitted that the show will delve into the plot about fsociety, but he was not yet sure when. He also said that fans can expect to see more of the transgender White Rose, whom they caught a glimpse of in the after-credits scene last season.

"BD Wong is one of my favorite actors, and I've always dreamed of working with him. He loves the show thankfully. I definitely think that we'll see more of him for sure, if I have anything to say about it," Esmail said.

As for those three days when Elliot (Rami Malek) went missing in the finale, Esmail said season 2 will provide answers about what exactly happened to the young hacker.

He said, "What was the deal between him and Tyrell that allowed the hack to still continue? All of that sets up really interesting questions for the second season. [Elliot] is aware of what's going on inside of him, and it's leaking out. How's he going to deal with that?"

Meanwhile, Slater revealed in an interview that his character will still be supporting Elliot for the next season, especially during the moments "when he is backed into a corner" or when he is scared or needs information. He said that there will be instances when Mr. Robot will take over, becoming more "fearless, dangerous and crazier."

The actor also admitted that Elliot's father is still keeping a lot of secrets that he won't tell his son until he's ready. Mr. Robot also has to weigh in Elliot's abilities if he can handle the answers he has been seeking for a long time.

"Mr. Robot" will return for its second season in 2016 on USA Network.
