People eagerly awaiting the formal announcement of the Moto 360 2 may not have to wait that much longer as the smartwatch is reportedly set to be revealed early in September.

At least that's what the latest rumors surrounding the smartwatch are suggesting.

The supposed reveal date for the Moto 360 will be on Sept. 2 during this year's IFA event, according to PC Advisor. Motorola has already announced that they will be taking part in the event and that they expect it to be their "biggest launch of the year," leading many to believe that this is indeed the occasion the company has chosen to also reveal their new smartwatch.

What people believe to be the Moto 360 2 has been spotted out in public a lot lately, and there have also been reports indicating what specs and features the new smartwatch may have.

As of now, it is believed that the Moto 360 2 will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor to go along with 4 GB of internal storage. It's also expected to have a variety of features designed for the modern traveler; such features include an accelerometer, a barometer, a heart rate sensor, and a gyroscope.

The new smartwatch will also have Wi-Fi capabilities as well as Bluetooth LE so as to help people stay connected even while they're on the go.

It's also believed that the Moto 360 2 will still have the "flat tire" portion found on its display.

There are also three different Moto 360 2 models that are expected to be made available, according to iDigital Times. The first model, which would be the Cognac Leather Moto 360, will be available for $392.49. For those looking for a cheaper alternative, they can look to get either the Light or Dark Stainless Steel models of the Moto 360 2. Both will be available for $326.99.

Motorola has yet to offer any official word about the Moto 360 2, so its specs and features could still change between now and when the company is ready to finally reveal it to the public.
