"Mortal Kombat X" is now set to introduce Tremor as the latest addition to its roster.

Tremor, has grown to be one of the fan favorites from the franchise over the years, according to iDigital Times. Tremor also offers a skillset unlike any other in the game, featuring an array of skills that enables him to bend the ground beneath him to his will. Tremor also has powerful earth magic to make the ground his opponents are standing on shake so as to make them more vulnerable to his attacks.

Tremor is also the fourth and said to be the final character coming via downloadable content (DLC).

In addition to announcing the impending arrival of Tremor, series creator Ed Boon has also promised video of the new character in action to be shown this coming Tuesday. The showcase is expected to include various displays of the new character's abilities that he can use once he formally joins "Mortal Kombat X."

As to whether Tremor would possibly get a playable preview ahead of his official release, Boon indicated that it will most likely be a showcase for now.

Interestingly, Boon also gave an indication to fans that even though Tremor might be the final confirmed character coming via DLC, that he may not necessarily be the last addition to the roster, according to Gamespot. Boon stopped short of clearly saying more characters are still on the way, but his hint will add to the rumors that Nether Realm Studios is still planning to introduce more fighters to "Mortal Kombat X."

Some notable characters who are not part of the current roster include Baraka, Noob, Rain, Sindel and Smoke. Although some of them are in the game, they are non-playable characters with limited movesets.

Fans will want to stay tuned for Boon's announcement on Tuesday to see if new characters for "Mortal Kombat X" are still in the works.
