'Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate' news: Upcoming DLC pack adding new content

Capcom Unity blog for Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate

A bunch of new content is coming to "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate."

The details of the newest downloadable content (DLC) pack have been detailed in the Capcom Unity blog.

First off, there will be 12 new quests for players to go on, although additional details about these have yet to be provided. Included in the 12 additional quests are two Arena Challenges for players to try out.

Players will also be getting some new gear along with the arrival of the newest DLC pack.

There will be five new weapons for them to try out on the monstrous occupants of the world inside the game. Two of the new weapons expected to be part of the DLC pack are the Commemoration Sword and the Teddybear Hammer, according to Gamespot.

To protect themselves from these powerful creatures, players will also have four additional pieces of unique armor that they can acquire.

There's also one new armor set being added to "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate."

With the arrival of the new DLC, players can also acquire a new Palico known as Oliver. New gear for Palicos is also available, and it is known as the Melodic Set.

There will also be eight new Guild Card titles for players to get — thanks to the upcoming "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" DLC pack — and also one Guild Card background thrown in just to round out the entire bundle of new content set to arrive for the game.

Getting the new items included in the latest DLC pack for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" is simple enough.

All players have to do is to connect their Nintendo 3DS to the Internet, start the game itself, head to the DLC menu, and then download the new items that are now available.

Players are also advised to get the DLC packs they may have missed from previous months.

Another DLC pack for "Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate" is currently scheduled to come out in November.
