Joss (Jes Macallan) will find herself in hot water when authorities tag her as the primary suspect in the death of Luca (Noam Jenkins) in the upcoming episode of ABC's sexy mystery drama "Mistresses."

In "Unreliable Source," the International Business Times reports that the fair-haired mistress will use all her cunning to avoid getting arrested. Calista (Jennifer Esposito) will further complicate the situation when she twists the story to her own benefit.

Last episode, Calista threw Joss under the bus when she told the police she was not aware of her "friend's" evil plans for Luca. The two originally conspired together to catch him in the act of cheating, when everything went down the drain after he was murdered. When Joss confronted the fashion designer about her statement, the latter told her she would not admit the truth, as the police would think she had the motive to kill her wayward husband.

Meanwhile, Cartermatt posits that Calista may have been the killer and that she may be suffering from a "disorder." The website noted that her adamant refusal to help Joss was "fishy," and that she could be using her as a pawn to accomplish her plans all along.

Also in episode 9, Marc (Rob Mayes) is still feeling down, thinking he is not good enough for April (Rochelle Aytes) due to his past misdeeds. ABC's sneak peek shows that Harry (Brett Tucker) will try to cheer up his friend and help him "get back on track." April and Blair (Brian White) will reach a sort of understanding in their relationship, even though her daughter Lucy (Corinne Massiah) admits she does not like him very much.

Elsewhere, Karen's (Yunjin Kim) trip to the doctor will get her "stunning results." She had been feeling under the weather in the previous episode. Could it be due to an unexpected pregnancy? Did her steamy night with Alec (Ed Quinn) while Vivian (Sonja Bennet) was away result in a child?

"Mistresses" airs Thursday at 9 p.m. EST on ABC.
