Milwaukee Bucks second year forward Jabari Parker may not have been playing in the preseason despite recovering from injury but is doing well in training camp, according to head coach Jason Kidd.

In his rookie year last season, Parker was limited to only 25 regular season games after suffering a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) back in December.

Parker was having a great start in his professional career averaging 12.3 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and 1.2 steals in 29.5 minutes of action per contest.

Unfortunately the injury abruptly ended what could be a great season for the 20-year-old forward, but Kidd said the former Duke standout is having a great training camp following the injury.

"He looks great. If you were able to watch practice, I'm sure you guys would probably question why he's not playing," Kidd said, according to ESPN.

The Bucks are currently 1–2 in the preseason, winning their first game last Tuesday against the Cleveland Cavaliers.

"Because he's done everything. He looks great. But again, he hasn't been cleared by the doctors. But when you watch him out there in his warm-ups, you can see his body has changed and you can see in practice his voice has changed. He's talking a lot more," Kidd also stated.

The Bucks head coach also shared how they see Parker still as a rookie despite already playing last season.

With Parker still not being cleared to play for Milwaukee, it is likely that he will not be stepping on the court for the remainder of the preseason, with the team still having three games remaining in their schedule.

Kidd already mentioned before that they are not looking to rush the progress for Parker, with Bucks general manager John Hammond preaching caution for their young player.

The Bucks will open the 2015–16 regular season with a two-game home stand facing the New York Knicks on Oct. 28 and the Washington Wizards on Oct. 30.
