Miley Cyrus and Patrick Schwarzenegger are already telling their friends that the duo are planning to get married, according to rumors. Friends initially thought the two were just casually hooking up but TMZ sources indicate that they are getting serious.
A recent report from HollywoodLife showed that Maria is finally warming up to the mega-hit pop star and that all she needed was some time to gauge if the relationship was just a fling or if they were really planning to take it somewhere.
The couple's friends have told multiple media sites such as Hollywoodlife and TMZ that they were surprised Miley and Patrick were talking about getting married so openly. Friends admitted that in the beginning it looked like they were just hanging out and partying hard.
One of the pervading rumors about this rumored engagement is that Patrick is only staying with Miley because she is pregnant. This rumor has been going back and forth since November of last year. It hit its height in January when Life & Style reported she was being dumped by Patrick and that she was carrying his baby.
The original statement from Life & Style's source read as follows:
"When Patrick got back to L.A., they went to dinner and both said they had something to say to each other. Patrick went first and said he needed some space and wanted to take a break — and that's when Miley interrupted and said, 'Well, you can't, because I'm pregnant!'"
However, sources over at Gossip Cop have broken this rumor and Miley even parodied the issue on her Instagram account. She posted an edited photo of her taking an ultrasound test with Patrick as the doctor.
