This will be the first game for Mexico with Juan Carlos Osorio in charge, and ahead of the game he has emphasized the need to respect every single opponent Mexico comes up against, and not take anything for granted.

He will be sending his team out against El Salvador tonight knowing that a win is expected, but he will want his team to show respect for their opposition and to make sure they put on a solid performance and not allow complacency to creep in.

Colombian, Osorio takes over from interim coach Ricardo Ferretti, who warmed himself to fans by leading Mexico to victory over the United States last month to secure Mexico's place in the Confederations Cup in 2017.

Mexico have the task to qualify from their group, also consisting of Canada and Honduras.

Osorio has said, "[My aim is] to win and hopefully leave a good impression, to play well and make all of you [the media], and the Mexican fans, happy with the team. They are two completely different games, there will be changes. We have tried to tailor ourselves to the task, analyze player by player. It has been difficult to assess El Salvador, but the group knows that we have to show high levels of commitment."

He added, "Football is unpredictable, but the commitment and respect will not go missing and the guys accept that."

Today's big game between Mexico and El Salvador has a scheduled start time of 9 p.m. ET and can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
