"Married at First Sight" stars Jamie Otis and Doug Hehner recently revealed the gender of their baby. The lovely couple will be having a baby girl, and both parents are very excited to see their daughter already.

On April 26, Otis shared on Instagram that she and her husband are having a baby girl. She posted this with a photo where she wore a light pink dress, holding several light pink balloons.

Otis' caption read, "We are so thankful for this sweet, sweet baby GIRL rolling around happily inside me."

ET Online reported that this will be Otis and Hehner's second child after the couple suffered a miscarriage in July last year with baby Jonathan.

In an interview with People, the couple revealed that they're actually expecting their baby to be a boy. "I was so shocked. I was pretty certain it was another boy. If you follow the old wives' tales, I had no symptoms of [having a] girl," Otis shared.

However, Otis is still delighted to have a baby girl since she also wants to have the bond that a mother has with a daughter. Otis is looking forward to having that mother-daughter relationship with her baby girl because it is something that she missed out on with her mom.

"I secretly hoped to be a mommy to a little girl and to have a little mini me," Otis revealed.

For Hehner, he admits that he was more concerned about the health of the baby rather than the gender since they went through a miscarriage last year.

"I am still cautious and it was tough in the beginning to get excited. [But as the weeks] pile on and I see the baby bump get bigger and bigger, I cannot stop smiling!" Hehner explained.

Baby girl Hehner will be arriving in Otis and Hehner's lives this coming August.
