Manny Pacquiao next fight news 2015: No opponent determined yet for potential final bout in 2016

As Manny Pacquiao continues to work for his political aspirations in the Philippines, it is still undetermined whom he will be facing in his possible swan song which will be held in April next year.

In the most recent news related to Pacquiao, one of his possible opponents, the unbeaten Terence Crawford, received a warning from the number one pound-for-pound and retired champion Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Mayweather cautioned Crawford via FightHype.com that even if he made beating Pacquiao look easy, it will not be, also saying that the Filipino boxing icon can fight and hits hard.

Crawford is one of the top contenders considered having a chance to seal a fight with Pacquiao next year.

In an interview with the The Manila Times, Pacquiao's manager Eric Pineda shared that the 36-year-old boxing star wants to take on Crawford for his potentially final-career bout.

But still, the likely frontrunner in the list is British contender Amir Khan, who, since his win over Chris Algieri last May, has expressed his willingness to take on his former sparring and stablemate under trainer Freddie Roach.

However, reports say that Khan is again waiting as Pacquiao has yet to sign the contracts that will make the fight official.

In the report by Daily Mail earlier this month, Khan's father said his son's camp already sent signed documents, agreeing to the bout, to Pacquiao's camp and are waiting for the Filipino slugger's signature.

There were also previous reports that Khan had already backed out of the negotiations because of Pacquiao trying to delay the talks.

But Khan said he is searching for other possible opponents in case the Pacquiao fight will be unavailable.

Another possible contender that Pacquiao may face is Kell Brook who is also British and is unbeaten, but his name is not making that much noise as Pacquiao's potential opponent come April 2016.
