Manchester United are having a perfect start to their Premier League campaign, capturing nothing but wins and they aim to continue the streak when they take on Newcastle United at Old Trafford on Saturday.

United defeated Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa both at 1–0 for an immaculate 2–0–0 record in the Premier League.

The Red Devils also succeeded in their first Champions League test after missing it last season, beating Club Brugge in the first of two playoff games with the winner advancing to the group stage of the tournament.

Summer acquisition forward Memphis Depay led the way for Manchester United against Club Brugge with a brace before an assist to teammate Marouane Fellaini to seal a 3–1 victory.

But Fellaini will not be joining the club this Saturday as he is serving a three-match suspension, although it will be the last game of the ban and he will be able to return in their next Premier League match when they take on Swansea City.

United hope Depay's performance during the first leg of their Champions League group stage qualifier against Club Brugge will continue against Newcastle and for the rest of the season.

Depay is one of the bright spots offensively for the Red Devils. Captain Wayne Rooney is still having troubles finding the net and it does not look like he will be getting out of the scoring slump anytime soon.

Meanwhile, Newcastle is looking for their first Premier League victory under new manager Steve McClaren.

The Magpies began their campaign with a 2–2 draw against Southampton and followed it with a 2–0 loss to Swansea City.

Newcastle's newest acquisition midfielder Florian Thauvin, who completed a transfer from Marseille, might be making his debut Saturday; he could bring new energy to the club.

Thauvin is already the fifth signing for McClaren following the addition of Georginio Wijnaldum, Ivan Toney, Aleksandar Mitrovic, and Chancel Mbemba, according to Goal.com.

The match between Manchester United and Newcastle will be played on Saturday, Aug. 22 at 7:45 a.m. EST (12:45 p.m. GMT). It will be shown on NBCSN and BT Sport 1; and to watch via live stream, click here.
