LG Nexus 5 vs Huawei Nexus 6: A comparison of rumored specs and features

With Nexus 5 from LG Electronics Inc. 5 and Nexus 6 from Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd. both reportedly coming out soon, now is the time to look at what features separate the two devices from one another.

Starting off with the displays of the respective devices. LG's Nexus 5 will reportedly be offered at two different sizes — one at 5.2 inches, as claimed by popular tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer of Nowwhereelse.fr or @onleaks, and the other variant coming in at 5.5 inches. As of now, LG's Nexus 5 is reportedly more likely to be equipped with a 5.2-inch display as opposed to the latter measurement.

For those who want something more substantial in their hands, then Huawei's Nexus 6 is likely more suitable for them, as it will reportedly feature a display topping out at six inches and coming in at no less than 5.7 inches, according to Trusted Reviews.

Moving on the possible processors of both devices, the two will likely use the Snapdragon chipset from Qualcomm, with LG's Nexus 5 sporting the 6-core 808 variant, and Huawei's version either featuring the Snapdragon 810 or perhaps even the 820.

As could be expected given the sizes of both devices, the rumored specs online suggest that Huawei's Nexus 6 will likely be the model featuring the more high-powered cameras, although LG's shooters are also supposedly not too shabby themselves.

In terms of what operating systems both devices will be featuring upon being released, LG's Nexus 5 will reportedly be running Android 5.2 operating system (OS). However, Expert Reviews UK has suggested that it could very well upgrade to the new Android 6.0 OS when it's actually time for it to make its long awaited debut. Huawei's Nexus 6 will also reportedly come fully equipped with Google's latest version of the Android OS when hits the market.

For now, all these reported specs are unofficial so they can still change between now and when the devices themselves are formally launched.

The LG's Nexus 5 and Huawei's Nexus 6 will reportedly be available either by October or November.
