The latest rumors surrounding the LG G4 Note suggest that the new device could be officially released by Oct. 10.

The leak may be more substantial this time around since it reportedly came directly from an official of LG. The unnamed LG official mentioned the release date of the new device during a company briefing, according to Android Authority. What is unclear is whether or not the LG official actually meant to reveal the date or if it was a mere slip of the tongue.

Prior to the apparent reveal of the G4 Note's release date, LG Corp. President and CEO Cho Juno already confirmed that there would be a new device launched by the fourth quarter of this year, although he ultimately stopped short of naming what model it would be specifically.

There are other apparent indicators suggesting that the LG G4 Note could indeed be on its way.

According to Digital Trends, the new phone has supposedly made its way through TENAA, which is China's version of the Federal Communications Commission (FCC). If such is indeed the case, then it is yet another indicator that the G4 Note really could be on its way to the market.

In addition, some images from TENAA were also leaked recently.

Upon looking at the images, it would seem that they are showing the LG G4 Note. However, the lack of a visible stylus in the images could be a possible indicator that they may not be showing the LG G4 Note after all.

As for the expected specs of the new LG offering, it is believed that it will be sporting the Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. LG apparently chose to go with this processor to avoid overheating issues with their newest smartphone. It is also believed that the LG G4 Note will be featuring a plastic frame upon being released.

More details regarding the LG G4 Note are expected to come out soon.
