In terms of the screen resolution, the LG G Pad 2 has 800 x 1280 pixel resolution display, while the Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 is expected to have a Super AMOLED display with a 1536 x 2048 pixel resolution.

As a mid-range tablet, the G Pad 2 has a 5-megapixel camera on the back and a 2-megapixel camera on the front. It runs on the new Android 5.0 version Lollipop operating system (OS) and inside, it packs Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 processor along with only 1.5GB RAM and 32GB built-in memory.

In addition, Samsung's Galaxy Tab S2 is powered by a 4,000 mAh battery, according to GSM Arena, while LG's G Pad 2 comes with a slightly larger 4,200 mAh battery.

As of this time, there's no information yet on when the LG G Pad 2 will make its way out of South Korea. According to Android Central, there's a possibility that LG might release this tablet with different specs for international markets.
