People who have been eagerly waiting for updates regarding LG's latest releases are in luck, as more details are now coming out about the LG G Flex 3.

As the name of the device would suggest, the LG G Flex 3 is the successor to the G Flex 2; and as the rightful successor, the former possesses revamped features that are promising to give consumers more bang for their buck.

According to Tech Times, one of the latest revelations about the specs of the LG G Flex 3 that should give people ample reason to get excited is the rumor that the device will be sporting the Snapdragon 820 chipset when it is officially released. If this turns out to be true, it would be quite the coup for LG, as they would have the first handset to feature the chipset.

LG is reportedly pursuing the Snapdragon 820, in part because the LG Flex 2, which featured the Snapdragon 810, suffered from problems with regards to overheating; and LG now wants to avoid that with their new offering.

The LG G Flex 3 is also expected to have 4 GB of RAM upon its official launch.

The new device will also likely feature a camera combo of one at the back at 20.7 megapixels and the one up front at eight megapixels.

Users will also be looking at a six-inch QHD display with the new LG offering, to give them more room to look at content using their phones.

As for now, it's still unclear just exactly what kind of design the LG G Flex 3 will have. Although some rumors have suggested a metal body for the phone, it is more likely that LG will go with a curved metal design for their new product, according to Android Pit.

The LG G Flex 3 is expected to be released early next year.
