'Jurassic World' updates: new Super Bowl trailer excites, photo released of a hunting Velociraptor

The Indominus Rex is the genetically modified hybrid dinosaur with a growl so deafening and strength so menacing that it scares the living daylights out of "Jurassic World" fans in a glance. The brute is built bigger and trudges faster than the T-Rex so it is not at all a shocker that the beast is tagged as "the most fearsome dinosaur ever to be displayed at Jurassic World."

According to the official description of the movie for the terrifying animal, "At first glance, Indominus most closely resembles a T. Rex. But its distinctive head ornamentation and ultra-tough bony osteoderms can be traced from Theropods known as Abeliosaurs. Indominus' horns have been placed above the eye orbit through genetic material hybridized from Carnotaurus, Majungasaurus, Rugops and Giganotosaurus. Fearsome indeed."

The creature seems to be the upcoming movie's biggest revelation.

But director Colin Trevorrow has put a face on another dinosaur, the Velociraptor, the most frightening and most ferocious creature no one wanted to mess with in Steven Spielberg's "Jurassic Park." In the photo shared by the director on Twitter, the dino seems to be hiding from view as it prepares to hound.

There have been many goodies released by the people from "Jurassic World." Last month, stills that show the brand new Mercedes-Benz GLE models have been released. In November, the first trailer of the film was published. Fans got to see various breeds of frightening and fascinating dinosaurs that are on display at the killer park.

"Jurassic World" stars Chris Pratt, Bryce Dallas Howard, Ty Simpkins, Nick Robinson, BD Wong and Vincent D'Onofrio. According to Geeks of Doom, filming began in April 2014 and ended August of the same year. A trailer for the movie is set to grace the Super Bowl game today and, according to Hollywood Reporter, it came out as the most anticipated ad in a survey made by Fandango.

The action and the horrors within "Jurassic World" can all be seen in 3D when the movie premieres on June 12.
