The second match for the first day of the 2015 Gold Cup quarterfinals will feature the leaders of Group B Jamaica taking on the second-seeded squad of Group A Haiti.

Jamaica claimed the top spot in Group B following a huge 1-0 win over El Salvador in their final group stage match to end the round with two wins and one draw scoring seven points.

Midfielder Garath McCleary was the one who scored for the Reggae Boyz against El Salvador finding the net in the 71st minute.

The 28-year-old player will be one of the main offensive options for Jamaica against Haiti as he is the squad's leading scorer with two goals in the tournament so far.

Unfortunately for Jamaica they will be missing a number of players as reported by MLS.com.

Defender Jermaine Taylor is injured while midfielder Je-Vaughn Watson and striker Darren Mattocks are suspended in Saturday's game after receiving a yellow and red card respectively.

MLS.com also reported that defender Alvas Powell will be out against Haiti after leaving the squad because he is unhappy with his playing time.

"When he does not want the shirt of Jamaica or the Jamaica Football Federation I cannot help him. For me he is the past. I have to watch what we're doing now," Jamaica head coach Winfried Schafer stated according to The Gleaner.

Meanwhile, Haiti finished their group stage round second to the United States in Group A after defeating Honduras 1-0 as they advance to the quarterfinals.

The brightest star for Les Grenadiers as of the moment is forward Duckens Nazon who scored both of their goals in this year's tournament.

But Haiti needs to come up big against Jamaica whom they last defeated in 1984 in a friendly competition and in 1979 in a tournament during the Caribbean Cup, the Latin Post reported.

The quarterfinals match between Jamaica and Haiti will be on July 18, 8:30 p.m. EST and will be shown on Fox Sports 2. The game can be watched online through live stream by clicking here.
