The latest rumors regarding the iPhone suggest that either the 6s or 7 upgrade is likely coming in September.
With the supposed release date coming near, the features of the new iPhone are also beginning to leak out and the details so far are suggesting a new device that is highly suitable for business use.
The headline feature said to be part of the next upgrade for the iPhone is Force Touch, according to The Week UK. The Force Touch feature provides users with a pressure-sensitive touchscreen that can react in a variety of ways. Users can apply a light touch to the screen to bring up one specific function and they can apply more pressure to bring another function.
The latest upgrade for the iPhone will also reportedly feature a new home button capable of more functions than before. The new home button is expected to have a slight variation of the Force Touch applied to it as well as other gesture-sensitive capabilities to make it more versatile.
As for some of the hardware components of the newest iPhone model, one of the new elements people can look forward to is an upgraded processor. The new processor, rumored to be called the A9, is said to be 15 percent smaller, 20 percent more powerful, and 35 percent more efficient than its predecessor.
The iPhone 7 is also anticipated to have a new kind of battery upon release. According to iDigital Times, the new device is said to have a battery that will be incorporating solar power technology. The phone itself may even be recharged using solar power if the rumors end up being true.
As of now, the only feature almost guaranteed to be part of the new iPhone will be Force Touch. All other features for now are rumors at best, although more concrete details about the iPhone 7 are expected to be announced before its September release date.
