The tattooists will be playing with fire in the upcoming episode of Spike's "Ink Master" season 6.

In "Like a Moth to the Flame," TV Guide reports that the ten remaining contestants will be using fire to paint their masterpieces in yet another grueling flash challenge. As the pressure hits a different level, the artists will also experience mishaps they have no choice but to overcome to keep the slots they worked so hard to achieve. Some will be capitalizing on other's mistakes to shine in the task.

Meanwhile, a romance between artists will test loyalties. Obviously, this pertains to Marisa LaRen and Tyler Nolan, who are dubbed the power couple of the competition. While some wondered whether their relationship would either make or break them, it now appears that it could be the reason one or both of them may be eliminated soon.

Will the couple be able to win both in love and in the competition? It is best to remind them that only one will emerge as the "Ink Master." Who will end up sacrificing their chance?

Last episode, the artists' composition was tested in tattooing postcards in the flash challenge. Chris Blinston once again proved that he was a force to reckon with this season by earning high praises from the judges. It was Matt O'Baugh, however, who got the price in what Cartermatt tagged as "a well-deserved win."

During the elimination challenge, the contestants were tasked to create a popular style of tattoo called "trash polka." This was a particularly difficult style to do, as artists needed to mix real images with abstract elements to create "one cohesive design." LaRen, specifically, had a hard time doing the task, which her human canvas further confounded. Luckily for her, Nolan was there for the rescue, and she got her A-game back.

The frontrunners of the challenge were Erik Campbell and Craig Foster, but it was the latter who took home the price for the week. As for the bottom unit, it was composed of LaRen, Nolan, Big Ceeze, and Duffy Fortner. LaRen's man got a little too frustrated with the human canvas jury for choosing him and it did not bode well on the viewers. But it was Big Ceeze who ultimately got axed.

"Ink Master" airs Tuesday at 10 p.m. EST on Spike.
