The Indiana Pacers are faring well this 2015–16 National Basketball Association (NBA) regular season, but it seems like one piece of their roster is not locked as forward Solomon Hill's name is being involved in trade talks.

Hill was the 23rd pick of the Pacers in the 2013 NBA Draft, and last season, with franchise star forward Paul George out for the majority of the year due to injury, found himself becoming a starter.

In the 2014–15 season, Hill played a full season (82 games) having 78 starting stints and was averaging 29 minutes of action per contest.

But as George returned this season and with forward C.J. Miles emerging, Hill found himself having lengthy stays on the bench.

This season, the 24-year-old forward played in only nine of their 22 games so far, averaging 2.3 points and two rebounds in 7.9 minutes of action per outing.

Because of his playing time dwindling along with his role to the Pacers, Hill is being a part of rumors and reports regarding possible trade deals.

Despite all these, Hill is not worried and said, according to the Indianapolis Star, "At this point, I understand it's a business. Instead of being frustrated and moping around, I take it as being that guy that brings some energy into the game."

The former Arizona Wildcat also stated, "Rumors will be rumors, and all I can do is control what (I can) when I'm out there. Just making sure I'm prepared and, if coach calls my name, making sure I can go out there and help the team win. That's all I can really worry about. I can control what I can control."

According to ESPN, Hill will be an unrestricted free agent July next year since Indiana did not exercise its team option.

Hill will try to find minutes and prove that he is worthy to stay with the Pacers when they host the Toronto Raptors this Monday to begin a three-game home stand.

Currently the Pacers are fifth in the Eastern Conference standings with a 13–9 record, just two games behind the conference-leading Cleveland Cavaliers.
