Huawei Nexus 6 phone could have a unique camera panel

More rumors are now coming about the Huawei Nexus 6, and this time around, they are saying the new phone has a highly unusual camera panel.

In what appears to be leaked images shared by iNexus.co, people can clearly see what can only be described as a unique camera panel situated at the back of the phone.

According to 9 to 5 Google, the unusual camera panel serves a very important purpose. It reportedly houses not just the camera of the Huawei Nexus 6 itself, but also the dual LED flash that is found on the device. It's also believed that the unusual formation of the panel is the way it is so that the camera itself would not be jutting out and vulnerable to damage.

Also seen in the leaked images is a small, circular indentation just below the camera panel. This unassuming little part of the phone is reportedly important as well, as it is apparently the fingerprint scanner that has long been rumored to be featured on the device.

Another interesting feature of the Huawei Nexus 6 that looks to have been revealed by the leaked images is the presence of a dual speaker set up on the phone. The dual speaker setup will reportedly be used to provide stereo sound for owners of the Huawei Nexus 6, according to The Verge.

The Huawei Nexus 6 was also shown to have a USB Type-C port situated where the ports are found on most mobile devices.

Although the exact reasoning for why the creation of the unusual camera is unclear, what is fairly obvious is that if the leaked images prove to be true, then Google has opted to go in the same direction with their new mobile devices.

LG's very own Nexus device has a design concept similar to the one found in the leaked images, giving the impression that Google has a clear vision of what they want these new phones to be.
