HTC Vive vs. Oculus Rift vs. PlayStation VR comparison: what the headsets have to offer

It looks as though the next major trend in gaming is virtual reality (VR). Now, players will have to decide which one might be capable of providing them with the best and most enjoyable experience.

When it comes to motion tracking, the HTC Vive utilizes what is known as Lighthouse tracking, which in turn utilizes elements such as an accelerometer, gyroscope, and a laser sensor to plot the exact position of the user's head, according to IT Pro UK.

The HTC Vive is believed to be the first one to be released of the trio, as it is expected to reach the market by November. Both the Oculus Rift and the PlayStation VR are expected to follow next year.
