The mystery surrounding the character Neve Campbell will play in "House of Cards" season 4 has sent media outlets guessing about what sort of impact she will strike in the life of cunning politician Frank Underwood.

Some say she will be as shrewd as Kevin Spacey's character but what spoilers hint is that she will even be worse. According to reports, she is also thirsty for prominence and she might even use Frank and Claire's celebrity status to get there or even higher than where the pair is.

As far as "House of Cards" season 4 spoilers go, Campbell's character is being shaped in to a big threat to Frank. In fact, some speculate she will be directly challenging him for the seat of power by running for president in the new season.

In order to make her a worthy opponent, rumor has it that Campbell's mystery role will sort of be patterned after Hillary Clinton with the presidential election storyline in the series to be made to reflect the real-life election in United States, where Clinton is running.

While the new season will indeed write in the true to life 2016 presidential election, the show wouldn't be mirroring it all. In fact, the nature of the show's release date limits it to merely mentioning the event and not entirely echoing it.

Right now, it is being said that Campbell's entrance will be another problem to Frank in "House of Cards" season 4. Not only will he have to deal with his wife leaving him and the mentioned possibility that Claire may even go up against him in the presidential post, he also has to tackle a new, uncharted threat in the form of Campbell's character.

What this promises is that the new series of the Netflix hit will be more action-packed and familiar, at least compared to the previous season, which focused on Frank and Claire's relationship and an overall "emotional flux."

"House of Cards" season 4 is expected to drop on Netflix in Feb. 2016.
