After Rockstar Games dropped the "GTA 5" Freemode early last week to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, some users discovered that the game studio may have an unannounced Easter egg in adddition to the four events released.
Consistent "GTA 5" tipster MrBossFTW said that Rockstar included a brand-new Peyote plant that will help the player's character turn into Bigfoot. The tipster said that the discovery was actually posted on Reddit by user YourAdultFriend.
"With today's update, an acheivement/trophy was added for obtaining all the animal actors in the editor mode," the YouTuber claimed. "This is done be ingesting the animals peyote plants. However, the trophy text hints towards there being a hidden animal [sic]."
It seems like the tipster got the hint from a post on the PSN Profiles trophy page, which asked "GTA 5" players if they managed to unlock all the animals that can be used in the Director Mode, where he believes players can find a way to unravel a discrete animal actor. He also mentioned in his Reddit post that since sea creatures cannot be considered as actors, it could mean that the Peyote plan can be found on land.
Another hint also claimed that a new trophy can be achieved after the player unlocks all the unrevealed animal actors that are included in the Rockstar Editor mode. This can only be achieved when they eat all the Peyote plants that can be found all over the map.
A text will notify the players that all the hidden animals have been unlocked once the trophy is earned. But it does not state if the alleged hidden animal is really the mythical Bigfoot.
The "GTA 5" Freemode events are called "Hunt the Beast," "King of the Castle," "Penned In," "Moving Target," "Fastest Speed," and "Hot Properties," among others.
