Theo Galavan (James Frain) will reach out to young Bruce Wayne (David Mazouz) in the upcoming episode of the FOX hit series "Gotham."

In "Tonight's the Night," Comicbook reports that the new mayor will put several schemes in motion to ensure that his plans for the city will succeed. First, he will reportedly approach Bruce with a business proposal. Knowing their history, Theo is still smarting over what transpired with his and the Wayne's family in the past. Whatever his plans are, it will surely lead to Bruce's downfall.

Last episode, Theo revealed what he wanted all along. He would try to get Bruce to trust him to the point that he himself would sign over Wayne Enterprises to Theo. Will he succeed? For that matter, will Bruce really be that naïve?

While Theo is off charming Bruce, he will be sending an emissary to go after Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie). That person is none other than his ex-lover Barbara Kean (Erin Richards).

Last season, Barbara got sent to Arkham Asylum when she tried to kill Leslie (Morena Baccarin) who confessed that she murdered her parents. Barbara was slowly losing her mind after being abducted and brainwashed by The Ogre. Previous reports reveal that Barbara's power lies in knowing everyone's weakness and then exploiting it. Perhaps, Theo is capitalizing on that skill to brainwash the Gotham City Police Department (GCPD) operative.

In the promo, Theo can be seen telling Barbara that the time has come to finally kill Gordon. It looks like they will set it up in such a way that Barbara will be apprehended by the police, which will bring her in close proximity to her ex-lover.

While Gordon's colleagues warn him that Barbara may be playing him along, he still appears to believe that she is the victim. While he drives toward the location that she says they must go to, Gordon gets ambushed. When he opens his eyes next, he is in church, tied up to a chair, while Barbara is wearing a wedding gown. The only catch is that she is holding a knife.

"Gotham" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on FOX.
