New phones are set to hit the market soon, and two of those will be Google's Nexus 5 2015 and Microsoft's Lumia 950 XL.
With both devices coming from well-known companies and already well-established customer bases, it can be difficult for any consumer to decide which one better suits him or her. For the purposes of understanding which phone might be the better fit for a particular consumer, the specs are what people need to pay attention to.
Now, the main specs of the two devices will be set firmly against each other.
Starting off with the respective processors of each device, Google's Nexus 5 2015 will reportedly feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 processor, according to Neurogadget, while Microsoft's Lumia 950 XL will supposedly come with the quad-core Snapdragon 810 processor.
Moving on to the RAM capacities of the two devices, the Lumia 950 XL will have around 3GB of RAM ready right from launch. As for the Nexus 5 2015, it will reportedly come loaded with just a tick more at 4GB of RAM.
When it comes to internal storage capacities, Google's offering is rumored to have 64GB available to users, while a more definite count for Microsoft's device has yet to be specified.
Displays are obviously important elements of any smartphone, and for the Nexus 5 2015, users will be able to view their apps, messages, and everything else in between on a 5.2-inch P-OLED HD screen. The Lumia 950 XL has a bit of a bigger display measuring at 5.7-inches that makes use of OLED technology, according to Gotta Be Mobile.
When it comes to cameras, specific details about the Lumia 950 XL's are not yet available, while the Nexus 5 2015 will reportedly be sporting a 13-megapixel rear shooter paired up with a 4-megapixel camera upfront.
What becomes clear is that both the Nexus 5 2015 and the Lumia 950 XL can make a case for being an ideal phone for the average smartphone user, and now it's up to people to decide based on the specs to see which one fits them better.
