'Game of Thrones' season 5 spoilers: Younger Cersei Lannister, Castle Black and more

Jaime and Cersei in Game of Thrones season 5 HBO

Season 5 of "Game of Thrones" premiered at the Tower of London on March 18 and the spoilers have already gone viral. Further details are being reported by the Latin Post and Wet Paint, particularly about what fans should expect for episode 1, "The Wars to Come."

According to Hollywood Take, the show's first flashback would be featured in the episode and would focus primarily on a younger Cersei Lannister as she receives an ominous prophecy from Maggy the Frog. The prophecy foretells the death of all of Cersei's children.

The episode will also shift some attention to Castle Black. After some back and forth to get Mance Rayder on their side, Stannis and Jon Snow eventually kill Mance. This is a big change from the books where Rattleshirt dies in Mance's place.

Dorne will also be explored in the first few episodes of season 5. After the death of Prince Oberyn Martell, his daughters and brother may use Myrcella Baratheon as their ticket to the throne. This is why the show deviates from the books and places Jaime Lannister in Dorne instead of Riverrun.

While Jaime's location has changed in the transition from the book to the show, Cersei's predicaments will be the same in season 5. After the death of their father Tywin, she gives military power to the religious fanatics known as the Sparrows. Eventually, however, she falls under the scrutiny of the High Sparrow, played by Jonathan Pryce. Season 5 will not deviate too far from the source material and will place Cersei under trial.

Tyrion and Varys share knowledge of a conspiracy and they travel to meet Daenarys, where Tyrion will become her advisor. This never occurred in the books since Tyrion was carried off by her supposed nephew, Aegon. Despite the change, season 5 will continue showing Daenerys' struggle with the city of Meereen.

Season 5 episode 1 of "Game of Thrones" will air on HBO on April 12.
