Apple, Google, and Samsung routinely produce among the most publicized and hyped smartphones for consumers, and now it's time to further evaluate how each device stands up next to the others.

Starting off with the all-important processors, the iPhone 6S features an A9 64-bit processor to help it perform, while Samsung's Galaxy S6 has the Exynos 7420 chip and the Nexus 5X features the Snapdragon 808 set. With each phone providing a processor coming from different companies, there's enough wiggle room here where it's worth it to dive deeper into the backgrounds of each brand to see which one may be the best fit for the user's specific needs.

Moving onto the cameras of the phones, the iPhone 6S has a 12-megapixel iSight camera loaded with other features that elevate it into the upper echelon in terms of quality, according to Digital Trends. It has a five-megapixel camera up front as well.

Samsung's offering provides more megapixels at 16, although it doesn't come with the same combination of features as what Apple's iPhone can bring to the table. It also provides users with a five-megapixel front-facing camera, according to GSM Arena.

As for Google's Nexus 5X, it comes in second in terms of its megapixel offering for its primary camera at 12.3, and that is then paired up with yet another five-megapixel shooter available up front, according to Tech Radar.

Each phone also presents users with their own unique features.

The iPhone 6S offers users the new 3D Touch feature that enables owners to access the different apps on their phones more quickly and conveniently.

Samsung's Galaxy S6 provides a combination of useful features such as wireless charging, Smart stay, and active noise cancellation, as well as an array of other offerings that help make it a well rounded device.

Last up is the Nexus 5X which, of course, benefits from being one of the first units to feature the Android Marshmallow operating system that users may pursue if they want to get a good grasp of it early on.
