'Five Nights At Freddy's 4' spoilers, game plot: What does Nightmare Foxy have to do with the Bite of '87?

Game developer Scott Cawthon is busy building another scare fest that is "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" and he has been especially enthusiastic in keeping fans in the loop about the latest and, sadly, the concluding entry in the wildly popular horror survival video game series.

The newest teaser courtesy of the horror master is an image of Nightmare Foxy, which has loads of cryptic clues peppered here and there. Fiddling with the photo can reveal interesting things, such as the number 87 in its eyes, reminding fans the year Freddy Fazbear's Pizza went out of business.

The phrase "out of order" in Foxy's teeth that's hardly discernible is said to tell something about Foxy's state. Some eagle-eyed fans also spotted a subtle question mark at the end of the phrase making them believe that "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" will see the broken down animatronics fully functioning.

Others think that the words' positioning also means something. With the phrase in Foxy's mouth, some fans are convinced that it was responsible for the shutdown of the once-happy place and was only kept because it is one creature that's just too deadly to be left lying around.

Lastly, the overt "or me?" phrase in the teaser is simply interpreted as the continuation of Scott's "Was it me" question he included in the other images. On the whole, many believe that Foxy has something to do with Bite of '87 but isn't the mastermind of it all.

Fans expect that the next teaser for "Five Nights At Freddy's 4" will center on the Puppet, which is believed to be possessed by the Purple Guy's victim, simply because he was the one that spawned the other animatronics.

Also, Cawthon focuses on certain body parts in his teasers (with Foxy's head focused on the latest one), and many believe that since the Puppet's horror schemes emanate from its eyes, they will be the ones to be shown in the subsequent teaser.

"Five Nights At Freddy's 4" is said to come out in time for Halloween, Oct. 31.
