'Final Fantasy VII' Remake to bring big changes, fan made album

"Final Fantasy VII" Square-Enix

"Final Fantasy 7 Remake" will bring with it a lot of changes. This is a promise that fans are holding onto after director Tetsuya Nomura confirmed the game release at E3 2015.

"We're not able to say the details of [what we're changing], but we are bringing dramatic change to the Final Fantasy 7 remake."

Tetsuya Nomura said in an interview with Games Radar that, though there will be changes to the game, these changes will not change how the game is played like being a shooter game. He said that new elements within the game may change, but they will make sure that it would still be the same "Final Fantasy" game that people love.

One of the changes Tetsuya Nomura mentioned is the 3D experience that his team is working on. He said that it was a learning curve for everybody and that it made the game really special for them.

Working on "Final Fantasy 7 Remake" has been a long time plan for Tetsuya Nomura and his team. He said that they were just waiting for the right time for them to start production of the game. Announcing its launch motivated him and his team to work on it right away, especially now that two other key members of his team, Mr Kitase and Mr Nojima, are ready to take on the project.

"The availability of these three key members finally aligned, and we were able to see a window in which we can start production with these creators, so it made it possible for us to move forward with the project."

Meanwhile, a fan made album is being released in conjunction with "Final Fantasy 7 Remake."

iDigitalTimes reported that 200 artists have collaborated to work on an album entitled, "MATERIA: Final Fantasy VII." This collection is said to include 87 of the best songs from the soundtrack, remixed and released in a five-disc album. The album is on sale on iTunes for $19.99, on Loudr, and on Spotify.
