Warner Bros. has released the first trailer for the upcoming action film "Rampage," which will feature Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson dealing with giant creatures that threaten the city of Chicago.

The trailer shows Johnson's character, primatologist Davis Okoye, who keeps other people away, but shares a very strong bond with an albino silverback gorilla named George. The gorilla understands sign language, and Okoye is able to communicate with the animal, which he has taken care of since its birth.

The movie will be telling the story of how George becomes exposed to otherworldly genetic editing and transforms into a giant beast. The story will also feature a giant wolf and a giant crocodile, both of which apparently underwent the same situation as George.

Johnson will find himself stuck between a rock and a hard place, as he will have to help the authorities stop the beasts from destroying Chicago, but one of his priorities will still be to prevent the military from killing his beloved friend. The task is a daunting one, as The Rock, who is usually the biggest guy in the room, will need to deal with even bigger creatures. However, if anyone is up to the task, it would be Johnson, who is dubbed as the busiest man in Hollywood due to the number of his upcoming projects.

The film is directed by Brad Peyton, the director of "San Andreas," which also starred The Rock. The story of the upcoming film is based on the 1986 video game where a giant gorilla, wolf, and lizard fight against the military.

However, one key difference of the film from the original game is the origin of the giant creatures. In the game, the beasts start out as humans and revert back to their original form.

"Rampage" is set to arrive to theaters on April 20, 2018.
