'Dragon Ball Super' spoilers: 'Resurrection of F' saga begins with Goku's training in episode 18

 Toei Animation

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 18, titled "I Have Come Too! Training Begins on Beerus' Planet!" will see Goku and Vegeta begin their training on Beerus' planet. The promotional trailer for the episode (courtesy of FergusThree) reveals that the duo will be working under Whis while Beerus himself is asleep.

In the trailer Goku, remarks at how much stronger Vegeta has become after just six months of training with Whis. He even goes on to remark that Vegeta appears to be a completely different person now and later ponders what kind of results he will achieve after training on Beerus' planet.

Quick scenes reveal Goku and Vegeta doing all sorts of different chores such as cleaning Beerus's home with mops and brushes. This is very reminscent of how Goku was trained in the after life by King Kai during the very beginning of "Dragon Ball Z."

More importantly, however, the episode reveals the first appearance of Champa and Vados in "Dragon Ball Super." The duo played a role in the film "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F," which signifies episode 18 will start adapting the "Resurrection of F" storyline into the series.

This is also hinted at when Whis tells Goku that it is "the appropriate time" for him to begin his training. According to a report from the Latinos Post, this may be taken as a sign that Whis is preparing Goku for the resurrection of his mortal enemy Frieza.

"Dragon Ball Super" initially started by adapting the "Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods" storyline, which initially released as a movie, and it is now preparing to start adapting the "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection of F" storyline. The latter is speculated to be only the mid-way point of the series, so it is likely that newer enemies will be introduced after Frieza.

"Dragon Ball Super" episode 18 will air this Nov. 8.
