Chelsea vs Maccabi Tel-Aviv live stream: Watch Champions League football online (Preview)

Chelsea will play Maccabi Tel-Aviv in the Champions League on Tuesday night in a big game for the Blues. Chelsea lie in second place in Group G and need a win tonight to ensure they do not lose ground in the race for the knock out places. The game has a scheduled start time of 2.45 p.m. ET (7.45 p.m. GMT) and can be watched online through live stream via the link below.

Chelsea are three points behind top spot in the group and they will see today's game as a must win, seeing as Maccabi Tel-Aviv are still lingering without any points in this group.

Porto are top of the group with 10 points from their four games so far, and Chelsea have just seven. However, they are being chased by Dynamo Kiev who have secured five points from their four games to date in this year's competition.

Chelsea boss Jose Mourinho has said that his team are getting their confidence back after a lackluster start to the season. Chelsea remain in 15th spot in the English Premier League and their title hopes are basically already over, but they managed to end their run of three losses in a row by defeating Norwich 1-0 at the weekend.

Mourinho has said ahead of today's game: "We are very disappointed with the bad results we had for a significant period of time. We need to keep getting results for our happiness, pride and fans."

He has added: "We haven't qualified yet but we are OK. Everything is in our hands. If we play like we have been doing, we can win. It's simple. If we lose, we are in trouble. If we draw, we can qualify in the last game. If we win, great chance to finish first."

Chelsea will play Porto in their final game of the Champions League group stages at the start of December and that will ultimately decide where they stand in this year's competition, but they will make their lives much easier if they can gain three points today.
