The defending Premier League champions Chelsea are on an up and down ride this season and will try to find consistency when they play Crystal Palace F.C. at Stamford Bridge in London on Saturday.

Chelsea were stunned by Swansea City to open their 2015–16 campaign in the Premier League as the match ended in a 2–2 draw.

The Blues then experienced a 3–0 loss against Manchester City, the club they defeated last season to win the championship.

Chelsea captured their first Premier League victory last Sunday when they defeated West Bromwich Albion at 3–2.

The victory saw newly acquired forward Pedro Eliezer Rodríguez Ledesma from Barcelona score his first goal in a Chelsea uniform.

Pedro placed the Blues on the scoreboard when he netted the first of their three goals against West Brom in the 20th minute.

Despite the recent win, there is bad news for Chelsea as captain John Terry will not be with them when they face Crystal Palace. Terry he will serve a one-game suspension after being given a red card against West Brom and will likely be replaced by defender Gary Cahill.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace are looking for their second consecutive victory and third overall in the Premier League when they pay Chelsea a visit this Saturday.

Crystal Palace began their Premier League campaign with a 3–1 victory over Norwich City, although it was followed by a tough 2–1 loss to Arsenal in their next match.

But the Eagles returned on the winning track after a 2–1 triumph over Aston Villa last Saturday.

Crystal Palace manager Alan Pardew confirmed that midfielder Yannick Bolasie, who missed action including their win over Aston Villa because of his father's death, will be playing when they face Chelsea.

"He'll be involved on Saturday because he wants to be involved. Because his father went to every game. I think that's good for us, it'll be good for him and his family. The player's welfare is in good shape, the frame of mind. We're very pleased that he's dealing with it so well," Pardew stated, according to BBC Sport.

The match between Chelsea and Crystal Palace will be on Aug. 29 at 10 a.m. EST (3 p.m. BST) and to watch via live streaming, click here.
