More features for the PC version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" have now been revealed.
Earlier in the year, Mark Lamia of Treyarch Studios talked about how they wanted to make sure that personal computer (PC) players would get the most out of their game, and their latest revelations seem to indicate that the company is following through on their promise, according to Polygon.
Arguably the most notable feature revealed for the PC port of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" is the two-player split screen. It's unclear how the split screen will play until the game itself debuts, though its addition could help "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" appeal more to gamers.
About 100 percent ranked dedicated servers have also been introduced to the PC version of "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" to help facilitate smoother gameplay for everyone who wants to try it out. For players who prefer gaming on their PCs using controllers, the good news is that the game will also be providing support for their preferred approach.
Steam Trading Cards will also be coming to "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3." A whole host of other features, designed to truly bring forth the best visual experience for players, have also been integrated into the game.
In related news, two specific features that have been revealed for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" are being added to help give the game a more distinct e-Sports feel, according to Engadget.
Starting off with the Specialist Draft, this feature provides a specific role and power-up path for every player. The Special Draft is meant to incentivize players to figure out what style of play suits them best in order for them to succeed in a match.
The other feature is known as the Ban and Protect system, and what this does is to ensure that some items in the game will either be guaranteed to be there or guaranteed not to be there, depending on the players in the match. The players themselves will be the ones choosing which items will be banned or protected.
